Josiah Emery is a writer, director, and producer based in Los Angeles. He has been part of film and television production in Los Angeles for ten years working for such companies as Varied Directions, Outlaw Productions, and Interscope. He began his career at the American Film Institute where he produced numerous short films including acting as a producer and mentor for AFI's acclaimed Directing Workshop for Women.
Mr. Emery directed and produced the documentary "Charles Dana Gibson: Portrait of an Illustrator" about the creator of the famous "Gibson Girl" and her impact on American culture at the turn of the century. Licensed by PBS and narrated by Charlie Gibson of Good Morning America the film went on to play at numerous film festivals around the country.
Recently he wrote, directed and produced the independent feature film, "Liberty, Maine."
